Posters are one of my favorite design projects because you can bend the rules many different ways. Researching the target audience and product/service/event is a critical to a successful poster. The key is finding the right balance among contrast, proportion, movement, color, type, and emphasis. When you’ve achieved the right harmony, you’ve created a nice piece.
